The challenge
The Bureau needed mine boundaries digitised and volumes established across 125 separate mine locations, to a standard that would hold up as a statutory record.
Our approach
Drone capture tied to DGPS RTK ground control at every location, processed to a common reference so the 125 sites could be compared rather than only read one at a time.
The outcome
Twenty thousand hectares surveyed in under two months, across four consecutive assignments.
